In 2008 Lochcarron of Scotland learned of the Singers’ trip to perform at the Edinburgh Tattoo. They were commissioning a new tartan called Auld Scotland (inspired by the last line of the Address to a Haggis) to commemorate the national bard and his 250th birthday and graciously donated the fabric to the Calgary Burns Club to be made into kilts to wear at the events.
